🛡️Endotoxin Removal
For mammalian cell transfection, choose our endotoxin removal kits. Endotoxin contamination can dramatically reduce transfection efficiency and cell viability. These kits include an additional endotoxin removal step that brings levels below 0.1 EU/µg.
WORKFLOW
Typical plasmid extraction workflow

Harvest Cells
Pellet bacterial culture by centrifugation. Resuspend in Buffer P1 (resuspension buffer with RNase A).

Lyse & Neutralize
Add Buffer P2 (lysis) and mix gently. Neutralize with Buffer P3 or N3. Clear lysate forms.

Bind & Wash
Apply cleared lysate to column (or magnetic beads). Wash with Buffer PB and QC to remove proteins and contaminants.
4
Elute
Elute purified plasmid DNA with Buffer QF or water. DNA is ready for downstream applications.

Minipreps process 1–5mL of culture and yield 5–20µg of plasmid DNA. Midipreps process 15–25mL and yield 50–100µg. Choose based on how much DNA you need for downstream work.
