A liquid-stable, two-reagent kit for the determination of uric acid in serum, plasma, or urine using the enzymatic uricase method. Uricase oxidizes uric acid to allantoin and hydrogen peroxide, which is then coupled through peroxidase to yield a stable colored product proportional to uric acid concentration. The formulation offers excellent linearity and minimal interference from bilirubin, hemoglobin, and ascorbate. Ready-to-use liquid reagents simplify on-board setup. Supplied with R1 (60 mL × 2) and R2 (15 mL × 2).
