A homogeneous, two-reagent direct kit for the determination of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in serum or plasma. The surfactant-clearance formulation sequentially solubilizes non-LDL particles before releasing LDL-cholesterol to the CHOD-PAP enzymatic system for selective measurement. The direct approach maintains analytical performance in samples with elevated triglycerides or non-fasting status, where calculated Friedewald estimates fall short. Each lot is validated for linearity, calibration stability, and agreement with reference methods across the measuring range. Supplied with R1 (60 mL × 2) and R2 (15 mL × 2).
