    Description

The ampPCR combo assay is a real-time RT-PCR multiplexed test intended for the simultaneous qualitative detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A virus, influenza B virus, and RSV-A /RSV-B nucleic acid in upper or lower respiratory specimens (such as nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal and nasal swabs, sputum, lower respiratory tract aspirates, bronchoalveolar lavage, and nasopharyngeal wash/aspirate or nasal aspirate) collected from individuals suspected of respiratory viral infection consistent with COVID-19 by a healthcare provider. Symptoms of respiratory viral infection due to SARS-CoV-2 and influenza can be similar. Test results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history, and epidemiological information.

One Step Kit: Simplify your testing process with this all-in-one kit, designed to streamline workflow and reduce the chance of errors.

qPCR Detection: Highly accurate and reliable detection method ensures you get the most precise results.

Multi-Target Detection: Detects Influenza A, Influenza B, COVID, and RSV in one run, maximizing efficiency.

Sufficient for 100 Reactions: Each kit is designed for 100 reactions, offering scalability to suit your testing needs.

If multitasking was a superpower, our One Step COVID/Flu Combo Kit would surely be a superhero. It swoops in to save your day (and possibly your sanity) by detecting not one, not two, but FOUR different targets—Influenza A, Influenza B, COVID, and RSV. All this, with just one test run.

Engineered with RT-qPCR detection, our kit combines the power of reverse transcription (RT) and quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) to yield ultra-accurate results. And because precision matters, especially when it comes to health.

Now, imagine a ballet. Different dancers, each with their roles, dancing in harmony to create a stunning performance. That's our kit for you—a harmonious blend of efficiency, accuracy, and multi-detection capabilities, all twirling together to deliver the highest testing performance.

Did we mention that it's good for 100 reactions? That's right. Each kit is primed and ready for a centenary of testing wonders. Whether you're running a small health clinic or a large-scale testing facility, this kit has got you covered.

The One Step COVID/Flu Combo Kit—the real MVP in your virus detection lineup. It doesn't just work hard. It works smart.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How many reactions are in the kit?

What is the shelf life of the kit?

The kit is valid for 12 months after the manufactured date and until the expiration date and should be stored in a -20°C storage.

How many controls should I run on a plate for my clinical samples?

We recommend running at least 2 sets of positive and negative controls in case one set fails (a set refers to running a positive and negative for ALL oligo mixes).

How many patient samples can I do in a single run?

96 Well Plate: 92 Patient Samples (assuming you are running 2 sets of positive and negative controls)
384 Well Plate: 380 Patient Samples (assuming you are running 2 sets of positive and negative controls and filling all the plate wells)

What is the estimated run time of the method with this kit?

The method is estimated to be about ~60 minutes. Some thermal cyclers will vary in the duration of the method.

What is the LOD for this kit?

This kit has a sensitivity as low as 1 cp/uL, but will vary depending on your thermal cycler.

What dyes should my thermal cycler be calibrated for?

    FAM, JOE, ROX, Cy5, NED

What is the stability of the prepared PCR plate? Am I able to store it in a freezer after making the reaction?

It is best to prepare your plate and reagents as needed and not to let it sit at room temperature for extended periods of time. You should avoid storing the PCR reaction if possible; if it is needed, store the PCR reaction at -20°C for up to 30 minutes.

What are quantities of control and PCR mix?

    Positive control: 100uL
    Negative Control: 100uL
    RT PCR Enzyme Mix: 100uL
    PCR Mix: 1.5mL
